It will be something very similar.

 

I noticed that there are already devices being shown with Cablecard
interfaces.

note that windows media centre XP will have native cablecard support
built from Q3 this year.

Is not this "CableCard" the equivalent of a CAM, in which case you can

use a PCMCIA CAM reader (Or "CI" (Common Interface) reader) via a

PCI->PCMCIA reader. You know, those things that early 802.11b PCI

cards needed
