[mythtv-users] DVB-T won't tune for v0.18

I've just d/loaded 0.18 and compiled & installed but mythtv won't tune
my Nova-t (tda10045).

I'm using gentoo 2.6.11-r3.  The card works fine in other environments e.g

To build mythtv I ran the following
$ configure --enable-dvb --enable-dvb-it
$ make
$ su
# make install
$ cd setup
$ ./mythtv-setup

and all is well upto the point where I scan for the channels and I get

Does anyone have any idea what can be wrong?  BTW I've tried setting a
number of parameters in the initial tuning screen.  In the past I've
just entered the initial frequency of 641833330 (Sandy Heath) and all
has been well.

Any pointers would be appreciated.
