[mythtv-users] fedora boot script leads to protocol mismatch

I setup the latest myth from CVS last night mostly following jarods
guide, apt-get'ing most all of the stuff, and then grabbing myth proper
from the CVS, compiling and installing.

after doing "chkconfig mythbackend on" and "service mythbackend start",
or after a reboot, mythfrontend complains of a protocol mismatch. says
that the backend is running 14 and the frontend is running 15

starting mythbackend manually and then launching mythfrontend works,
but if i use the boot init script i get the protocol mismatch every
time.

anyone else get this? is there something i need to teek to make this
work? i poked my nose at the mythbackend init script, then ran and hid
under the covers after seeing the mystical incantations the programmers
had infested that file with. i didn't even see anything protocol
related when i peaked. but then, i am one of the uninitiated.

Thanks for the fun new toy.
