[mythtv-users] Any timeframe for 0.18 Debian packages?

FYI, I'm in the same boat as you, but I can report that it's very easy to
uninstall your myth debs (also, stop mysql, back up /var/lib/mysql!,
start it again), build directly from the myth sources, make install, and
later make uninstall when you feel like moving back to the debs. You will
need to tweak your startup script (which is fortuitously left over if
you did not purge), and you'll have to manually install mythweb.

That's _if_ you feel like moving back. My earlier experience making my own
0.17 debs (during the last lag time between release and package release)
made me aware that these are compiled for "i386", which can be a
performance issue if you are doing HDTV - maybe even if not.
