[mythtv-users] splitting directv signal?

I'm in the UK, I don't know about DirecTV, but it's satelite and you 
can't spilt the cable from a dish (or LNB to be more accurate)...
Well you can, but it won't work as the signal won't be strong enough to 
drive the receivers.
Your only real solution is to fit a new LNB (the pickup that the disk 
focus's onto) that has multiple outputs (the most common ones in the UK 
have four outputs) and then run an extra cable from the new output to 
the second receiver.

Probably not what you wanted to hear, sorry.
