I can *seriously* recommend this USB/Sky-Link solution

I got one of these last week and it's a real professional quality piece of
kit. From walking through the front door and seeing the package had
arrived to getting mythtv changing channels took < 5 minutes, and that
included compiling libusb and the control prog and making up a short bit
of coax to link the box to the Sky box.
