[mythtv-users] Firewire and what channels you can get.

I currently have a PVR 350 and a HD3000 in my myth box. I am contemplating
getting a firewire enabled cablebox, or 2, and setting them up.

I have been having a hard time finding out what channels you can get via the
firewire port. My search of the list has come back with varying reports,
including some reports that people used to get all channels (including
analog) but now do not..

 

So I ask. What channels can those of you who use firewire get? All channels?
HD or Digital only?

 

Since the mobo I use does not have firewire ports and I only have 3
expansion slots (1AGP 2PCI) I will have to replace one of the cards in the
system. If firewire can not receive analog channels obviously I will need to
keep the PVR 350. I would like to make a fully informed decision.
