I have used it only once but it worked without a
hitch.    I would use it more but my Myth system is
not quite "complete".  You can use the commercial cut
list that gets created or you can use the cut list
that you create.  In my case I had used a cutlist. 
The resulting file was nuv (it took about a minute to
cut the commercials) and then I transcoded the
resulting file with mencoder.
