[mythtv-users] Using a conexant (cx88) based card for recording in the UK

Hiya,

I'm after success stories of people using one of these cards in their MythTV 
set-up as I'm still struggling with my mine...

I live in the UK (PAL-I) and have a Hauppauge WinTV PCI FM card which turned 
out to be based on the conexant chipset. Still Kanotix 2005-03 supports it 
fine and I can watch Live TV in MythTV without any problems. It's just that 
MythTV insists on using PAL-BG when recording scheduled programmes. 
I have various theories why this is but I guess the most likely answer is that 
my set-up is somewhat wrong. 

Consequently, I was wondering if there is anyone in a PAL-I country that uses 
a cx88-based card (eg like my Hauppauge WinTV PCI FM cards) and has managed 
to record a show in MythTV. If so, I would love to hear from you and if you 
could share your modules.conf or related files that would be even better...
