[mythtv-users] New commercial DVB-T recorder based on linux : Siemens M740 AV

Siemens sells the Gigaset M740 AV,  a DVB-T receiver and recorder, 
running linux in an open source firmware

If it's possible to do a full rewrite of the firmware to make it run 
mythtv, this would be a very good mythbox!

The hardware is very interesting:
2 DVB-T tuners
True TV-Out  (there is a directfb driver in the firmware)
MPEG2 Decoder
SPDIF/Analog sound output
2 USB2 ports
1 Ethernet 10/100 port
Remote control
Very low power consumption, power supply included in the box.

It is sold ca. 240 euro in germany, which is quite cheap.
