[mythtv-users] Sound occasionally cutting out on one channel

I'm running 0.18.1 on FC4 with the latest ALSA drivers.  The sound on
one channel (Fox FX, NTSC channel 75) will occasionally (1 in 4 times,
perhaps) cut out immediately upon switching to that channel, making a
chirp sound in the process.  It then takes a reboot to restore the
sound.

The problem started happening a few weeks ago when our cable provider
stopped displaying the channel for a couple of days.  Once the channel
was restored, the sound kept cutting out on MythTV (but not on our TV
when it wasn't connected to Myth).  I've tried resetting our channels
and running mythfilldatabase and switching audio inputs to no avail.

Does anyone have any input on what to try next?
