[mythtv-users] Encoding settings?

I've noticed that the MJPEG settings leave quite a few artifacts using 
the default settings. I've tried raising the quality setting to no 
avail. I was wondering what everyone is using in terms of the encoding 
settings.

Another thought I've been tossing around is buying a PVR250 since they 
lower the cpu demand of the backend system. If I did this, do the 
recordings still go through the mjpeg step, or are they stored in the 
mpeg2 the card puts out.
