I appreciate the fact that a new motherboard would be inexpensive but I 
also know the VIA chip-sets have been plagued by DMA problems, have they 
fixed them?  Can you recommend a good VIA board for AMD k7s with 
Unichrome GPU, Gigabit LAN, P4 style heat-sync mounting holes in the MB 
and working DMA?

I also have an environmental problem with just discarding 3 ECS K7S5A 
boards that I love because I can't find a graphics card for them, the 
planet can't afford for us all to behave like that, we have to learn 
that financial isn't the only cost associated with a purchase. </eco-rant>

Thanks for the advice though, I'll look into it and if I see something 
perfect that'll do HDTV and a few other things so I'll hang onto it for 
a while then I'll go for it.
