[mythtv-users] 2 Backends, 1 backend use the serial port of the other?

Derek is right, a shell script over ssh should do the trick.  To allow one
box to talk to the other with a password you need to set up an RSA key
pair.  Look here:

Beyond the initial connection your on your own, there may be some scripting
magic needed that is outside my know-how.
