Well, if by upgrade, you mean "completely reinstall" then yes. I've  
actually been trying to get a front-end version working my my XBox.  
Where did you get these binaries?

Well, if you're using XBox Linux, I don't see why not. The XBox is  
99% identical to an average PC (minus standardized USB port, VGA-out,  
PCI slots, upgradable RAM, and plus additional "protection crap").
