Your box does not have the option of home control. Not all dtv boxes have
it. You will have to use a ir blaster type controller. If you dont feel you
want to attempt to set up lirc and a homebrew controller you might want to
check out some of the cheaper commercial products like the MyBlaster serial
(http://www.mytvstore.com/product_id_004.html). The linux driver for it does
not use lirc.
