Hi,

I'm still using the via binary drivers, and will keep that way until I
rebuild the system when I move back to the UK.

Yep, and am pleased with the quality, I'm using ALSA via the oss
emulation for Myth, but viaexp hacked to support alsa, for DVDs

I'm using the spdif out to a surround sound set of speakers.
