[mythtv-users] Watchtv + black screen until change channel

I have an odd problem.  When I first start the system up and  go to
watch live tv, a black screen appears .  When I change the channel I
get a good picture and on subsequent watch live tv there is no
problem.  The system initalizes to a good channel.

I am mounting a diskless system using nfs and have noticed that there
are other symptoms where it looks like something was not initialized,
xine, autologin, etc.  The wife friendly feature of rebooting fails
because it will not auto login.  It stops at the login prompt and then
when I enter the user name and the first few characters of the
password it starts the auto login. (I thought it was possessed for a
while)

Anyone else see this?  I have tried changing nfs mounting parameters
and myth settings, but the problem(s) remain?
