[mythtv-users] OT:Anything wrong with using a 2.4.x kernel?

Yeah, I'm running MythTV on SuSE 9.0 and couldn't be happier with dual
PVR-250s.  There are various "issues" with ivtv, lirc, etc on 2.6.x
kernels...

No problems here, running 2.4.27, with two PVR-250s. I considered going
to 2.6, but I think I'll be staying on 2.4 for the forseeable future;
2.4 is working perfectly well for me, and last time I tried the
bootsplash patches don't work on recent 2.6 releases.
