Hi!
When I try to transcode a recorded program, the mythtranscode process
becomes a zombie process...
When I run the command manually (cut and paste from the ps command when
mythtv started mythtranscode) I get this:
# mythtranscode -c 1000 -s 2005-01-27T20:00:00 -p autodetect -d -l
2005-01-29 22:48:28 Transcoding from
/mnt/storage//1000_20050127200000_20050127210000.nuv to
/mnt/storage//1000_20050127200000_20050127210000.nuv.tmp
Unknown video codec: 2005-01-29 22:48:28 Fast-Forwarding from 0 to 498
Segmentation fault
Is this due to som version dependencies between mythtv and 3rd party
encoders?
I'm not sure how mythtv transcode, but if mplayer is used, I can tell
you that I'm using the following RPM for mplayer:
mplayer-1.0-39_pre6.rhfc1.at
I'm using the precompiled RPM-packages of MythTV 0.16 from atprms.net on
Fedora Core 1.
I installed mythtv using apt-get.
Any ideas folks?
Thanks.
