Here are my PERSONAL opinions
1Ghz Proc Minimum(of course this is my personal opinion, I've had lag
spike issues with less)
256+MB is OK
200GB+ will make you happy
I use the PVR-x50 cards, but try using something more openly
supported. As far as remotes go, try using the One-For-All series
remotes, and use the IR reciever on the PVR card(if it had one).
Once again these are all my opinions, good luck! Don't forget to ask
questions here, I never did, but looking through the archives I have
found that I was an idiot for not!
