[mythtv-users] [OT] - /dev/nvram doesn't exist --> auto stop/start problem

Since I upgraded my MythTV system to FC3 I have noticed that the
autoshutdown/startup functionality no longer works. The logs indicate
this is because /dev/nvram doesn't exist and if I create it manually
it doesn't survive a reboot.

I believe that the solution is to add an line for /dev/nvram into
/etc/udev/rules.d/50-udev.rules, but I don't know what the syntax of
that line should be. If this is the solution, and someone knows what I
need to put in here that would be great.

Thanks,
Phill
