I've been following the details in this thread, but I have a problem
that's driving me nuts.

I had originally installed on FC3 following Jarod's excellent guide.
I decided I'd like to try out the xv stuff so downloaded, built and
installed the latest driver (0.3.6n) during install it complained
about the ivtv modules from atrpms, so I moved them out of the way.
Made & installed utils and copied new ivtvdev_drv.o in X11. Ran
depmod.

However when I reboot my /var/log/messages keeps telling me that I'm
running 0.2.0 (rc3j) which was the old version.

I've checked and double checked and can't find the reason, running
find only shows three locates for the .ko files
/lib/modules/2.6.11-1.27_FC3/ivtv, my backup of the originals (in my
home directory) and the build of the new files (also in my home
directory).

All help much appreciated.
Ant.

Modinfo tells me it loaded the correct module.
