[mythtv-users] Is there an easy way to Suspend/Pause/Stop all future recordings?

Hi everyone.

I'm running MythTV 0.18.1 on FC 1 and have an unusual dilemna.  My 
cable is out (I had it shutdown due to a pending move) and MythTV 
continues to attempt to record shows (as it rightfully should).  This 
causes problems because the 0kb .nuv files confuse the front-end (as 
well as MythWeb), as well as any non-clued-in users (wife/kids/etc)

Bottom line:

1) I don't want to disable all of my scheduled programs on a
     program-by-program basis.

2) I don't want to turn off the back-end, because I still have plenty
     of recorded shows that I am able to watch

3) Is there an easy way to "disable" future recordings, without
     telling MythTV on a program by program basis to "Don't Record this
     showing"
