[mythtv-users] new theme/ui engine?

Excuse me for not being up-to-date; but I see several posts that mention 
a rewrite of the theme/ui engine. As I am planning an update to my 
MythCenter theme, I probably want to wait for this to be implemented. 
Can someone give me some details or a link about it? Thanks,
