[mythtv-users] Problem with watching live tv

Just setup my first mythbox using the Myth(tv)ology guide. I'm using a
3ghz p4, 1 gb of ram, 120gb hd, and a pvr250. Frontend and backend are
running on the same machine. Pvr card works fine when just catting out
video and watching it with mplayer. Further, things are fine when i
record a show through myth; however, when i try to watch live television
through myth, i get approximately 1 second of video (and i think audio)
and then it freezes, and the video closes. The front end says (roughly)
the following:
2005-06-25 03:45:37.455 prebuffering pause
2005-06-25 03:45:56.427 ReadStringList timeout (quick).
Remote encoder not responding.

I googled this, and although i've seen other people having (and
seemingly getting past) the same issue, i'm not sure what to do. I do
know that if i record a few minutes of video through myth, and then
watch live tv, things seem to work fine, although i haven't watched for
more than 30 minutes yet.

Any information anyone has is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Allen
