[mythtv-users] Why XFS over ext3?

According to my experence with XFS, it is much faster (try deleting a
10Gigabyte file in ext3). I cannot comment on robustness because I did
not suffer from data loss in ext3 either.

As for future-proof'ness, I do not see linux dropping XFS file-system.

Which distro are you running? I installed Fedora Core 3 on xfs
partition so it had xfs tools already installed when i booted after
installation.
