Hello,

I hoping that someone can help me figure out what I did wrong.

OK here is the background. I installed the .16 version of mythtv from
the atrpms.net using the direction on the wilsonet.com/mythtv web site.
After some work I got everything working correctly and life is good. I
then install mythtv and FC3 on anther computer using the same procedures
as before and discovered that a newer version of mythtv (.17) was
install on the new computer so I need to upgrade my main system. I
upgraded my system with the "apt-get dist-upgrade" command. After this
was done I discovered that my system no longer works. I noticed that
both Mythtv and the ivtv drivers where upgraded.

Problems that I am seeing. When I go to live tv mode the screen freezes
periodically and eventually the system crashes with a core dump. The
other problem is that any program I record always records channel 4. I
have tried using the ptune-ui.pl script with mplayer and I still can't
change the channel there either.

System Info:
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 2.6Mhz
capture card: PVR 250
Video Card: Nvidia

Here is the output from running the mythfrontend.

I'm not sure what other information would be useful. Your help would be
very much appreciated. I love mythtv and I can't wait to get it working
again.

Thanks for your help,

Jeff
