[mythtv-users] MythTV won't display recorded programs

My MythTV box (MythTV 0.17, Gentoo Linux 2.6.11, ASUS Pundit-S with DVB 
Nova-T) filled up its /var/video partition (100 GB XFS) recently. At 
around the same time, it stopped displaying the recorded programs, both 
in the frontend and MythWeb. They are in the recorded table in the 
database as well as on disk. myth.rebuilddatabase.pl finds them and 
claims they are all fine, as does nuvexport. The .nuv files are all 
there, the entry in the db is there, but MythTV won't see them.

I have exported a few movies and manually deleted them from /var/video 
as well as in the recorded table to make room and currently have 13 gigs 
free. Restarts of the backend and whole computer makes no difference, 
the recorded programs are still missing from MythTV. New recordings 
aren't displayed either, but they get added to the recorded table and 
the .nuv files appear in /var/video.

Full logging has not revealed any problems and a few minor errors (open 
tables) in MySQL has been fixed, to no avail.

Is there any other part in the database that may have been borked, 
causing MythTV to not find the programs? Note that the root partition 
(ext3) where the db files are did NOT fill up, just the /var/video 
partition for the .nuv files. Anything I can do to force MythTV to 
re-read or re-build an index or something? Is there anything in another 
table that could affect this behaviour?

Since both myth.rebuilddatabase.pl and nuvexport can parse the database 
and video files just fine it seems there's something that the main 
mythbackend looks for that those tools doesn't.
