Sorry that should have been more like :- (assuming you haven't been told
this elsewhere
/usr/bin/ivtvfbctl /dev/fb1 -alpha -on -globalalpha -nolocalalpha
Or /dev/fb0 as appropriate.
Sorry tried to reply from memory and it doesn't always work :)
