if you have onboard spdif then there's no need for another soundcard (IMO)

I'd also caution that there are issues using the PVR350 for output (I 
have one)
It doesn't do the fancy goom display on Mythmusic, you can't play games, 
watching DVDs etc with xine is tricky.
It may be worth considering one of the nvidia cards ('cos the devs use 
them and the new drivers with vertical sync are supposed to give good 
pictures)

Worth checking out the wiki - www.mythtv.info - some useful tidbits and 
uk contacts on there.
