[mythtv-users] SUID Root

Your X server is not running as root when you use sudo.  You'd have to
start the X server as root, then run mythfrontend...

..... and here i have been going tried running as different users, with
tons of different permissions.  Is there a way to run it with sudo then?

When I try, I get:

supermario at portablemario ~ $ sudo mythfrontend
mythfrontend: cannot connect to X server
