[mythtv-users] Is HDTV on a Pundit possible, or is it time for me to give up?

The scaling should be getting done in hardware, if it's not then
that's what's killing you.

Yes you would.  My celeron 2.5 can handle HD playback with only 80% or
so of the CPU being used playing 1080i on a 720p display.
