[mythtv-users] Reinstall ivtv

After an upgrade of ivtv (ivtv-0.2.0-66)and ivtv-kmdl
(ivtv-kmdl-2.6.10-1.770_14) Sunday morning, I can no longer use my PVR-350
(pictures flicker and frames are rolling right to left). I would appreciate
advise on how to reinstall the ivtv drivers. Will this procedure work:

# apt-get remove ivtv-firmware
# apt-get remove ivtv-kmdl-$KVER
# apt-get remove ivtv

# apt-get install ivtv-firmware
# apt-get install ivtv-kmdl-$KVER
# apt-get install ivtv

Or any other suggestions on how to solve this problem?
