[mythtv-users] how can I tell which nvidia drivers are available?

Hi,

I've seen people using different drivers for nvidia, some are using 6629,
I've seen mention of 7167, and so on.

I just bought a GeForce4 MX440 and I'm wondering how do I find out what the
available drivers are, and which is most recommended for this particular
model? It's the NV18 hardware.

I'm using FC3, the 770_FC3smp kernel. It seemed like the "default" driver
worked ok. I upgraded to 6629 driver using apt-get, and suddenly my video
goes black when I watch TV. Actually, not only does it go black, it seems
the computer freezes because I can't do anything. I hear the hard drive
going, but I can't get out of black video. I can't kill the frontend, I
can't even reboot the computer, I actually have to power cycle it.

I'm not sure if it's the driver, I did upgrade drivers and select XvMC +
de-interlace all at the same time, I'm not sure what exactly is causing the
problem. I'd like to try different drivers, but not sure which ones are
available.

Thanks for your help
Ricardo
