watch recording -> choose file -> menu -> edit recording -> add/remove 
cutpoints -> menu -> begin transcoding

OK I did this last night and I cut a lot out of the program, I think.~!

now here is the problem, that transcoded file is slightly bigger then when it started.
I have not watched the video as it took some time to finish, but could someone explain what transcoding is? I have a PVR-350, and I get about a gig per half hour show.
