[mythtv-users] Problem with one code for Motorola DCT700

I recently sent this to the LIRC list, but since there are probably at
least a few Myth users of Comcast digital on this list, I thought I'd
try my luck here as well.

---

I've recently swapped my Comcast Motorola DCT2524 stb for a newer
DCT700. As far as I can tell, all the remote codes are the same for both
boxes, but I cannot get the new box to recognize the code for the 0 key.
All other keys work just fine, but the 0 never seems to be received by
the DC700.

I tried creating a new config file using the Comcast remote which came
with the unit. The result is exactly the same. All codes work fine, but
I cannot for the life of me send a 0. I can send a 0 using the remote,
so I know it's possible. Just, so far, not with LIRC. I did note that
the code for the 0 keypress is 0x0000. I don't know if that particular
sequence could be problematic in general for LIRC operation.

If anyone has any idea what might be causing this bizarre behavior, I'd
be most appreciative. Alternatively, if someone out there actually has a
working config file for a DCT700, that'd be even better. This is
Comcast's new low-end digital STB as of late summer. At least, that's
the case here in Philly. I'm guessing it will be showing up more and
more in the coming months across the Comcast enterprise. It actually
seems to work better than my old 2524 and is much, much smaller. If I
could just get it to receive a 0, I'd be really happy with it. :)

Thanks!

Rob
