[mythtv-users] Quiet HDs?

The trouble is, the results seem to very pretty wildly from site to site.

I hear (unofficially) that Seagate has AAM disabled and instead routes 
that functionality through something more obscure (due to a lawsuit 
supposedly?)

If that's the case, I'd probably rather go WD, even though it seems to 
score worse on average.
