[mythtv-users] New hardware suggestions.

Okay, I am currently looking at building another MythBox and I am
looking for suggestions about hardware. Any experiences that you have
would be appreciated.

My first MythBox used a Hauppauge 250 and a 350 with the default
Hauppauge remote. These cards worked pretty well and seem to be
supported quite well. The remote was a total pain in the butt. It
worked once you tweaked it and dealt with the super short receiver
cable.

No I am looking at buying two Hauppauge MCE 150's and a remote of some
sort. I would prefer a receiver that can work with a universal remote
or something rather than using the Hauppauge remote. Is this an option
(I am looking at $30-40 max for the receiver so please, no $300
solutions =)

Anybody have a MCE 150 card in the same system as a normal 150? I
remember when I was setting up my first box.. the first time there
where issues with different card type causing all sorts of grief but I
gather that issue has now gone away?

anyways.. thanks for any input you guys have =)

(If you know a good reputable site to buy cards from let me know! Im
always up for saving money..)
