[mythtv-users] Is this because bitrate was slightly too low?

I see.  Except this time, I chose not to deinterlace it, because I am 
watching it on a normal interlaced TV (playing it on a commercial DVD

Are most commercial DVD's interlaced or not?  Is it best to deinterlace 
when I make my own?
