[mythtv-users] Video file DVD's/CD's?

I'd like to add the ability to watch video files (mpeg, xvid etc..) off of CDs/DVDs
to the optical disk menu.  I believe I can customize the menu by copying it to my
myth user's home directory and adding a link to a shell script.  That seems kind of
like a hack though.  I want something nice and clean that I can queue up files on
the disk or play them individually.  Does anyone have a script or how-to etc to do
this?

BTW... this should be standard functionality.  Anyone who's capable of putting
together a working myth system has these disks laying around.
