[mythtv-users] How to fix Movie posters on FE

You shouldn't be running MythTV as root. There is no reason
for /home/.mythtv to exist because you installed MythTV
as root. Bad thing. In general, it's not good to
installing anything as root because you're lazy. Sorry,
that's what you said...

Having said that, what you could do is create a
completely different directory (say, called /.mythvideo)
and set this as the poster directory in MythTV, export it
and mount it on your front end. This would eliminate
any issues if you insist on running MythTV as root.

MythGame is purely a frontend app. I don't know if it
would typically run on an xbox, but I would not expect
it to.

Even exporting '/root/.mythtv/mythvideo' didn't work I'm guessing
because
the FE doesn't have that directory? Can I just create it on the FE?
Don't
forget this is on an Xbox.
When I installed Myth I did so as root to avoid having to SU back and

forth. Does that cause installation issues for Myth?
I don't see /home/.mythtv/mythvideo on the BE it appears not to have
been
created? Would that be related to the installation as /root?
Would the NFS share issue also be the reason why MythGame doesn't work
on
the Xbox or is it because the binary's don't exist?
 Thanks,
