[mythtv-users] Auto transcode and commercial cutting not happening

How do I "load the commercial skip list"? I used ffmpeg to
manually transcode a couple programs. Is there a way to skip
commercials with ffmpeg? (I don't think so.) I tried nuvexport but it
stopped with an error and it was easier to use what I know (ffmpeg)
rather than trying to figure out what is wrong with nuvexport.

Anyway, I thought that mythtv was supposed to be doing this (transcode
and cut commercials) automatically after it finished recording. Am I
wrong about this? Does everyone have to run nuvexport manually?

Excellent tip Adam. (I am using Ubuntu AMD64 actually and the logs are
there.) I just checked out the log. (Pasted the last bit below). It
seems that commercials ARE being flagged, but there is some strange
error:
        [mpeg2video @ 0x2a96567aa0]invalid cbp at 28 11
        [mpeg2video @ 0x2a96567aa0]Warning MVs not available

I wonder what "MVs" are and why they are not available. Any ideas?
Also, I don't seem to have the DB (database?) connections that you
show in your logs. Problem?
