[mythtv-users] Possible to use Dell Remote Control with lirc or otherwise?

I've got a circa 1999 WinTV Radio board (and all black remote), and
everything works great, except I can't get lirc to work- modules load,
no errors, but never any output from irw. And I can tell the remote is
outputting IR correctly (by looking at it through digital camera's
viewfinder).

Anyways, I have a free Dell "Remote Control for Dell Media Experience"
that came with a recent laptop. It uses a USB receiver. Here is the

I can't find anything on google, like the OEM or anything. If anyone
can point me in the right direction to get this working with MythTV
(or convince me its not possible). I'd love to hear it.
