I use the one from http://xmltv.assies.info/ it's fast and has
extended descriptions.

Yet another options would be digital satelite receivers, aim one at
the astra satelite and get a lot of foreign channels for free, pay a
small monthly fee and get the dutch channels as well (I believe its
about 9 euro's a month, cable subscription is about 15)
Buy another dish and aim that one at the hotbird satelite and get a
couple of hundred channels more
All in digital mpeg2 quality offcourse. You would need a set top box though.
