[mythtv-users] Downloading camera causes mythbackend to stop recording?

OK, I have a mystery....

Myth 0.18, using hotplug to download cameras...  The cameras are 
ordinary usb-storage devices.  Whenever I download a camera, mythbackend 
quits recording.....

The system is FC2, with a self-compiled myth on it....

I am open to suggestions on this one; I have no idea where to start 
looking....

The only thing I can think of is some sort of conflict between the 
PVR-150 drivers and the usb-storage drivers....

I don't think that the digital tuner quits; I think it's only the 
PVR-150 that stops....

Ideas?  Comments?

Time to sacrifice a goat?  Spill some sacrificial wine?  Or drink some?
