Hello, Chad. Thanks for taking a shot at it!
I tried all kinds of variations of settings in "alsamixer" (SiS SI7012)
and "alsamixer -c 1" (Brooktree Bt878) in _both_ systems. In FC4, I was
never able to disable sound, and in FC5 I was never able to enable it.
I played both with [Playback] and with [Capture settings] for both cards
on both systems.
One thing interesting alsamixer told me, though... When I hit "/" in
FC5, it tells me that SIS7012 is running on irq 177, and Bt878 is
running on irq 169. When I do the same on FC4, SIS7012 is on irq 5, and
Bt878 is on irq 11. Is there really a such thing as an irq 169???
