IA32 was adopted by AMD for their chips for compatability reasons as
they were forcing their way into the market. Once they started
developing their 64bit chips the market had no set instruction
standard so AMD created their own based off the working IA32 standard
(thus AMD64) while Intel did the same (IA64). EM64T is Intel's version
