[mythtv-users] Distro for MythTV, FC6 is killing me

This is true and I use Myth on Ubuntu and with universe it kind of
works out of the box for a lot of people.  The problem is there does
not seem to be a real package manager (i.e. someone who actually uses
or at least can properly test myth). The last version I tried packages
for (I think .19) was rather unstable.   Saying that I compiled .20
from source and it seems fairly stable (i.e. back end rock soled and
very occasionaly have to restart front end).

I would also like to warn against KnoppMyth.  Its debian based and
uses apt, witch is great.  Problem is doing apt-get upgrade/dist
upgrade can easily trashes your system.  I would therefore say it is
equivelent to alpha (at best) and should be avoided like a like the
plage.
