[mythtv-users] Recording failed

Making progress.

I have a PCHDTV 5500 card.  The S-video is connected to my satellite
receiver.  Today I tried for the first time to record from the S-video
input. It says it failed to record.  THe backend log reports:

Some other stranges things, if I access the guide, all the channels info
is there, but when I change channels to a satellite channel, the OSD is
blank?
Not sure where to go next.
